Qifan HUANG, is now working for the China Center for International Economic Exchanges, an international service organization engaging in economic research, exchange and consulting and a comprehensive social organization gathering high-end talents in economic circles and contacting with various economic research institutions.

HUANG worked in Shanghai for 33 years and made important contributions to the development of Pudong. Later, he served as the Mayor of Chongqing Municipality for a long time, in charge of fiscal, financial and industrial affairs. In the context of global financial crisis, Chongqing's rapid economic development and its financial stability and balance are inseparable from HUANG's efforts.

In January, 2018, HUANG, the then Vice Chair of the 12th NPC Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, worked in Chongqing again and was elected as a Member of the 5th Chongqing Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference. In September, 2018, he joined the School of Economics, Fudan University and officially became a Distinguished Professor of Fudan University.

In his political career for many years, HUANG has been mainly in charge of economic affairs, attributing to his in-depth theoretical thinking and rich practical experience in the operation mechanism and "General Equilibrium Model" of the economic system. In addition, he is excellent in economic governance, especially his penetrating and targeted analysis on China's financial market, land-ticket system and real estate market, which has attracted widespread attention from the academic and industry cycles.
