Former   Vice Chief of Staff of Chinese PLA Guangzhou Military Region and Former   Deputy Commander of China's PLA Troops stationed in Hongkong

Junli WANG graduated from the National Defense University, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, and Guilin University of Electronic Technology. He has served as Company Commander, Battalion Commander, Chief of Staff, Head of Combat Training Division of the Army Headquarters, Director of Strategic Research Department of the Academy of Military Sciences, Director of Military Affairs Mobilization Department of the Chinese PLA Guangzhou Military Region Command, Chief of Staff and Deputy Army Commander of 41 Army. He was promoted to Major General in July 2004. He served as Deputy Commander of the Chinese people's Liberation Army troops stationed in Hongkong in 2008. He once participated in border operations and major struggles to safeguard national security.

During his tenure as Deputy Commander of the PLA Troops stationed in Hongkong, WANG actively led the PLA Troops there to assist the HKSAR government in social order maintenance and disaster relief, contributing to the shaping of a new military-political and military-civilian relationships under the "One Country, Two Systems" concept.

He actively participated in the construction of military-civilian integration and promoted the application transformation of military technology in civilian areas. In view of the new technologies and scientific research achievements formed in the 4th Industrial Revolution, WANG and RDI's experts have actively exchanged, discussed and evaluated the feasibility of incorporating new technologies into smart city construction, military-civilian integration and development of B&R countries and regions.
