Jinyu LIU, PhD in Economics, is Grade II Civilian Professor, PhD Supervisor, Discipline Academic Leader of and Teaching Expert of the Teaching Guidance Group of National Defense University, PLA China, recognized as Technical Grade IV Personnel by the Research Center for Military-civilian Integration of National Defense University, PLA China. He also serves as Deputy Secretary of China Defense Finance Research Association, Deputy Director of National Defense Security Strategy and National Defense Economy Research Committee of Chinese Social and Economic Systems Analysis Reseach Association, Researcher of the National Strategic Institute, Deputy Director-General of PLA Military and Economic Research Center, Senior Expert of Military-Civilian Integration Research Center of Academy of Military Sciences, PLA China and Advisor of Z-Park Joint Innovation of Civil-Military Integration Equipment Industry Alliance. He is Editorial Board Member of China Defense Economy and that of Military-Civilian Integration. He serves as Distinguished Reviewer of Journal of Equipment Academy, and Senior Visiting Scholar of University of Wisconsin System

His main research fields include national defense economics, military-civilian integration, and national economic mobilization. In recent years, LIU has served as a lecturer to deliver important courses at the National Defense University,PLA China and lectured more than 100 times to different troops of the PLA. As an review expert, LIU has participated in the evaluation of in-depth development plans of military-civilian integration, plans of military-civilian integration innovation demonstration zone, and plans of innovation demonstration zone of military-civilian integration in national defense science and technology industries of over 20 provinces and municipalities. He has been awarded the title of “National Advanced Individual in the National Economic Mobilization” and won the “Silver Award of the Talent Cultivation Award for Military Academy”  “First Prize of the Quality Course for Teaching of Political Theory of the PLA” “Liu Bocheng Award” “Quality Course and Quality Major Course Award of National Defense University, PLA China”. In recent years, he has published 4 academic monographs, participated in editing of more than 20 books, and published over 50 academic papers in various newspapers and journals.
