Lu CHEN, the current Executive Director of RDI (Zhuhai), obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in E-commerce from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2006 and MBA from City University of Macau in 2015, with her  research direction being risk management during her study at City University of Macau. While in school, she won the fifth place in Global Management Challenge Macau.

CHEN has extensive practical experience in the field of project management, including 7-year experience in overseas strategic resource reserved project and 5 in investment and financing management in financial institution. She used to serve in the Niger Azelik Project Department of CNNC Overseas Uranium Resources Development Ltd., where she presided over 17 large-scale biddings, established a complete qualified supplier information database and OA management system, completed preferential loan extension worth of USD 230 million from the Export-Import Bank of China and promoted the signature of finished uranium sales contract worth of USD 70 million. After experiencing the challenges and risks of Chinese companies’ overseas investment projects, she wrote the Report on Risks and Challenges Faced by Chinese Enterprises Going Global. While working in financial institutions, she participated in the inspection of many projects, including the sale-leaseback projects of Hunan Kaixuan Changtan West Line Expressway, of Zhangjiakou Management Office of Zhangshi Expressway, of HNA Aviation Group and of Tianjin Lingang Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., the capital increase and debt-to-equity investment project of Taihai Manoir Nuclear Equipment Co., Ltd., the equity investment project of waste treatment of CNNC Environment Protection Co., Ltd., of smart nuclear power robot of Research Institute of Nuclear Power Operation, of Jilin China-Italy Nuclear Pipe Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and of photovoltaic power generation of Zhejiang Hongwei New Energy Development Co., Ltd.

CHEN joined RDI in 2019, mainly responsible for the management of RDI (Zhuhai), including the exploration, nurture and promotion of RDI platform enterprises and projects, investment and Financing docking and the integrated development of enterprises, and due diligence of reserved projects and actual controllers. She has made achievements in the following areas: establishing the management system of RDI (Zhuhai) International Investment Management Co., Ltd., including financial, personnel, business operational procedures and implementation standards; 2) carrying out systematic research and analysis of advantages and disadvantages of 413 RDI platform enterprises; and incubating of the first equity investment project--Zhuhai RDI-Shinesky Bio-pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which applied ionic liquid technology in the fields of skin care products, health products and bio-medicine. At present, she is presiding over the planning of the integrated development in areas of smart city, green environmental protection, and bio-medicine and education of RDI platform enterprises.
