To promote the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the in-depth cooperation between Zhuhai Hengqin New Area and Macau, the Zhuhai Hengqin New Area Administrative Committee (hereinafter referred to as “the Committee”) established a close strategic partnership with RDI to explore the best  way of "Think Tank + New Area” collaboration. The two sides set up RDIZ (the subbranch of RDI in Zhuhai) in 2019, aiming at effectively exercising RDI’s advantageous resources in domestic and foreign political parties, governments, parliaments, enterprises, think tanks, media, social organizations, industrial experts and so on, to help Zhuhai Hengqin New Area form industrial plans based on the development characteristics of Guangdong-Macau Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, and help Hengqin New Area build an industrial system with international competitiveness, select and nurture outstanding enterprises, land more good projects, so as to realize the high-quality development of Hengqin New Area.

RDIZ has a practical and capable, pioneering and innovative professional team that is familiar with the governments affairs and enterprise operation with rich practical experience, and has achieved fruitful results. Team members of RDIZ has a multidisciplinary professional education background, understand the market operation, can effectively provide diversified services covering the whole life cycle of enterprise development, including strategic consulting, city cooperation, marketing and business expansion, investment and financing connection, legal consulting and risk prevention, international quality compliance and standard inspection testing and pre-listing tutoring, effectively promoting enterprises’ development and project landing.

RDI and the Committee jointly built the brand of Shizimen Financial Week, which has made contributions to the financial and industrial development of Hengqin New Area for three consecutive years. At present, the Shizimen Financial Week has become a benchmark of Guangdong Provincial conference, enhancing the influence of Hengqin, Zhuhai.

In 2019-2020, RDIZ has completed 12 high-quality research reports that meet the development needs of Hengqin New Area, including two special research reports on Zhuhai Hengqin, four research reports on industries that Hengqin New Area pays high attention to, three research reports on international politics, economy and finance, and three research reports on epidemic prevention and control. These research reports have been highly valued by the central leadership and the leaders of national ministries and commissions.

RDIZ actively recommended Shanghai Iluvatar CoreX Semiconductor Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Dorabot Inc., Zhuhai Shinesky Junction Healthcare Industrial Development Co., Ltd. and other RDI platform enterprises to participate in the China (Hengqin) Scientific and Technological Entrepreneurship Competition, facilitated some enterprises landing in Hengqin; and held RDI new technology and industrial  development seminars for many times to actively explore the development path of Hengqin high-tech industry. In the third Shizimen Financial Week in 2020, RDI and Hengqin New Area jointly proposed the "Digital Alliance Programme" with Digital industrialization and industrial digitalization at its core and "BEYOND" Project centered on Macao international convention and exhibition industry. These projects will promote the intensive cooperation between Hengqin and Macao, and help Macao's economy develop from a single gambling industry to a diversified digital economy.

RDI actively promotes the formation of Hengqin-Macao cooperation and development plans, key industries and cooperation modes, especially the development of the financial industry in Macao. Finance has been listed as one of Macao's key industries for development for the first time in the 2020 Policy Address in Macao, and there will be more room for its further development.

RDI will focus on cutting-edge technologies, help Macao achieve diversified development, and make Macao an important platform for global science and technology innovation industry.

RDIZ attaches great importance to the development of human resources. It cooperated with universities in Macao to actively participates in the "Hengqin-Macao Uniting in a Concerted Effort -- Building Dreams and Flying High" 2020 Summer Hengqin Internship program for Macao university students, and accepted interns to help to learn more knowledge from their practice. Through the internship program, RDI selected more outstanding young people to join the Hengqin-Macao joint construction projects.

RDIZ has successfully practiced its mode, which laid a solid foundation for the practical promotion of smart city, park construction and enterprise cooperation. In the future, RDI will continue to make full efforts to consolidate the cooperation model of "Think Tank + New Area" and make contributions to the cooperation and development of Hengqin and Macao.
