Baige ZHAO said in her speech that it is of great significance to hold a conference on business environment construction on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the first batch of national economic and technological development zones, which have carried out vivid practices in constructing a first-class business environment over the past decades. At present, China's business environment is moving towards marketization, rule of law and internationalization. In the future, it is important to focus on digitalization, greening and sustainable development to continue building a first-class business environment. Development zones have a major mission in this process, and should play an important role in demonstrating, radiating and driving.
RDI fully recognizes that “digital” will become a key element representing the future development of China and the whole world. Over the years, RDI has been deeply engaged in the field of digital economy, and has accumulated valuable experience through theoretical research and concrete practice. At present, RDI is assisting Baoding in the north and Zhuhai and Ningbo in the south in their important attempts of digital transformation. Lei WANG pointed out in his speech that the construction of development zones is a successful practice of China's reform and opening up. Since the establishment of the first batch of state-level economic and technological development zones in 1984, the development zones have played a leading role in expanding opening up to the outside world, deepening reforms in a comprehensive manner, promoting industrial agglomeration and optimizing regional layout. Especially in the field of optimizing the business environment, some development zones have constantly taken the lead in exploring and forming reform and innovation experiences that have proved to be effective in practice and have the characteristics of being the first, groundbreaking and systematic, which have not only provided strong support for cultivating and stimulating market vitality and promoting high-quality development, but also provided a useful reference for the rest of the country to deepen the reform and innovation in a sustained manner. Doing Business Top 100 Cases re-launched
